We leave Belorado by the bridge of Tirón River and through fields of cereals we will find the towns of Tosantos, Vilambistia, Espinosa del Caino and Villafranca Montes de Oca. Here, the stage becomes a little bit harder since we start Montes de Oca, a very feared part in the Middle Ages but quite a pleasant walk for pilgrims nowadays. We have a small descent to the town of San Juan de Ortega, closely linked to the Camino, and finally we will arrive in Agés and Atapuerca.
(* Remember that the check-In date is the night before starting walking)
